Church is a great place to meet single black men and although you might see alot of couples and families, there are still many single Black men there. A lot of churches have bible study or programs designed for singles. Don’t over look the opportunity to meet someone this organic way. The only issue with church is that if you meet someone and it does not go well, then it might be awkward. So be careful before accepting that date and make sure you have truly gotten a feel of the guy first.

Professionals organizations are not only a good way to network but also serve as a good way to meet meet high achieving and driven single Black men.  A lot of organizations also have social events such as holiday parties are mixers. Weddings

Weddings are a great place to meet single black men. Check out the groomsmen but be careful because not all groomsmen are ready to settle down. There is always the playa that will never settle down but makes a great friend. You don’t want him!

If you live in a city like Washington DC or New York, then you know happy hour is a lifestyle. Nothing better than a drink and mingling after a long day at work. So maybe don’t run home after work and try a local bar with a friend or even alone (but safety first). Happy hours are a lot more laid back than clubs or bars and usually have more professional single Black men. 

Don’t give up on meeting quality Black men. They are out there and many are looking for quality Black women also. It might be that you have to try a few of these venues (or all of them), but it is important to put yourself out there to meet that special guy.
